In Memory of Don Bender

Don H. Bender, 86, of Westerville, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the Kobacker House. He was the husband of Norma Lee Taylor Bender, and served Camp Wyandot for many years. Don was involved in Camp Fire as an active Camp Fire dad and Norma’s Camp Fire group. He was a cherished helper on Work Weekends where he gave advice on how to complete constructions projects at camp, like building the caretaker’s house. He is also fondly remembered by his accordion playing during Camp Fire events.
